Very pretty, very sunny (in the summer), and I found the most excellent patisserie called Bubo there (their chocolate cake won an award).

Mr P - your macs look so good. I could stuff my face full of macs all day and I'm still too scared to attempt making them, even with Ms Humble's incredibly detailed trouble-shooting post! I'm too scared of totally butchering these yummy biscuits.

...I also disagree slightly with your Paris thing, but each to their own. I kind of loved Paris and need to go back again as I don't feel like I've even seen a bit of what it has to offer.Aliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12450207269910426207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4691966360028175204.post-66090565481764732292010-09-23T09:04:24.134+01:002010-09-23T09:04:24.134+01:00Beautiful macarons. Amazing!

However, between you and Ms. Humble, I'm rather nervous to try making them myself. You may give yourself a C-, but they look pretty darn good to me.

And by the way, if not Paris, where does one find "sunny weather, clean streets and blue skies; tree lined boulevards and green parks; the smell of freshly baked baguettes and window displays filled with beautiful patisserie"? We're saving our pennies for a trip to Europe next summer.Curtishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13767356047737004501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4691966360028175204.post-18367760513117292552010-09-20T02:10:09.330+01:002010-09-20T02:10:09.330+01:00So pretty!
